Happy New Year & I’m Baaaaaack!

Hey there folks.  Sorry I haven’t updated the blog but was away in Washington State with my wife’s family for the holidays.

I hope your new year is going great so far.

I gotta be honest & transparent with you folks.  I gained a few pounds in WA.  No excuse but sheesh, all the mexican food I can ever imagine.

It was yummy but I’m backin the gym at http://PrimeTimeBoxing.com and things are rockin.

Day 8 - Losing Rocks

Why didn’t anyone tell me that the 2nd day of boxing was going to be like “hell week” from high school football?

Man today was extremely tough.  I was super sore, and worked out even harder today then yesterday.  OUCH.  So when I got home today it was a pain going up and down the stairs.

As we speak, most of the muscles in my body are sore.

Eating is going well and I’m going to be posting some some of the stuff I’m eating sometime this week.

Losing DOES rock though.

1st Live Weight In - 11 Pounds Lost

Today was the first LIVE weight in of Losing Rocks.

I talk about Week 1 and how you have to at times (in anything) set UN-realistic goals in order to have different results.

Week 1 is gone and so is 11 pounds.

I’m extremely pumped cause I didn’t even work out.  I basically lost all the weight by eating right.  This should be very encouraging to folks.

If you eat right, you can lose weight.

Day 7 - Losing Rocks

So I’ve been at this thing for one week!  7 Full Days.

So far I’m feeling good and with all the support that you guys have provided thus far makes me confident that I’ll do just fine.  Just don’t stop supporting and getting the word out to others that are looking to lose weight.

I’m doing a LIVE WEIGH IN tomorrow at Noon Pacific and would LOVE it if you were there to watch.  The video will probably only last 25 - 30 minutes, but would be cool if ya came to check it out.

Day 6 - Losing Rocks

Today was my first Saturday of Losing Rocks.

Still doing the daily grind, making it happen.  Haven’t felt tired yet.  I have been drinking a lot of water so I think that has helped tremendously.  I have been going pee a lot too :)

The thing about water from what I’ve read is that a lot of times people that “think they’re hungry” are actually dehydrated.  Not realizing this they turn to food and this is where a lot of people get in trouble.  SNACKING.

Tip of the day

If you’re feeling hungry, try drinking a big glass of water and wait 15 minutes to see if the hunger goes away.  You’ll be surprised that your hunger goes away.

Just make sure you’re drinking 8 glasses of water a day.  I know it’s a lot, but it will also help with your cravings.  If you can control your cravings, you are far ahead of the game!
